Discussion on B.C. today about the length of time between stardom and has-been. It would seem RS is trying to buck the trend.
They began the year my sweet blue eyed girl and I married and they lasted a pretty long time. But, typically, music and times, and attitudes changed and thousands of other top talents superseded them. But it never hurts to try to āeducateā a new audience. Good luck to them.
I say MORE POWER TOāEMā¼ļø If theyāve still got the stamina to even GO on tour, much less perform on that tour, then good for them! (That, plus I love me some Stones, always have!)
I call the music performed by the bands my age and up, āGeezer Rockā and I proudly claim them. Theyāre working harder than I am.Mick Jagger canāt retire, heās got too many kids to pay for.
