Walter Osborne was really stumping for a theme for this painting.

Yeah, I think it’s dumb too but we all have to stand perfectly still while this guy paints us

Upon realization, the hen stood straight up and proclaimed, “This is not chicken scratch, it is leftover Halloween Nerds candy”

Way back when I was a child, Grandma made me a chicken feed shirt. I was so embarrassed.

“Remind me again, who’s going to be the Gluten-Free meal?”

I think it goes to the skinless, boneless chicken.

Poor girl. Must be a servant. Her clothes are torn and dirty. So sad.

Always makes me laugh when I see “chickens fed only vegetarian feed”. Chickens will happily gobble up worms and insects, if given the chance. Course, those are gluten free.

It was only natural that Constance would grow up to be a lesbian. In her formative years, chickens were her only companions, and now she never wanted to see a little peck-er again.
