As if ticks weren’t bad enough, here in the northeast we have the Brown Tail Moth caterpillars which shed microscopic toxic hairs that give you an itchy rash. I got a bad dose of it after mowing my lawn the other day. Now taking Benadril and hoping I don’t get more.

Remembered watching a segment about scientists researching limes disease by dragging a white sheet behind them through the woods were there were a bunch of ferns and collecting hundreds of ticks for examination. The scientists wore denim jeans with rubber bands around their ankles.

Those who think that outdoors is the healthier option are welcome to truly put it to the test by becoming voluntarily homeless.

The only tick I ever saw was inside a suburban home. (Thankfully, we found it before it could get on anybody.)
