There’s the usual unusual nature of this strip in that the panels suggest Egyptian hieroglyphics. There’s also Cat’s “Walk Like an Egyptian” postures. And the desert background. And the fact that cats and cat-like goddesses were revered in Ancient Egypt. To say nothing about the catalepsy in panel one. I’ll stop now before I go too far. What do you mean, “too late”?
This reminds me of a video I saw long ago on Consumption Junction, maybe. A large dog—golden retriever, maybe, starts running in it’s sleep, continues running as it jumps up, and smashes head first into the wall.

These panels could be shown in the shape of a circle, with the last panel followed by the first.

And after that… the day is done. As it is with all cats.

Started out as a puddle ~ a little disurbance in the middle ~ but all’s well in the end. This is definitely ‘cat’ behaviour!

Cat doesn’t look a thing like my cat, but he sure acts like him.
