Don’t ever grow up.

When I was a kid, people asked what I wanted to be when I grew up and I had no answer. At 63, I now know the answer. I wanted to be retired so I could be a kid again!

I’m with him. Tried being a grown-up but didn’t like it.

True story. About four years ago, I was 63 and my youngest son was 37. One day, he asked me, “Did you ever suddenly realize all the responsibilities you have, and say to yourself, ‘Wow! I’m a man!’”?I said, “No, but if I ever do, I’ll let you know.”

This reminds me of an old joke:

Son: Dad, when I grow up, I want to be a pilot.

Father: Sorry son, you can’t do both.

Just because you grow up, it does not mean you have to put your toys away. I sure didn’t.

I never did come up with the answer.

Moderately inquisitive.

I understand being a responsible adult …but everyday…everyday single day… that seems a little excessive

I should have tried to be an engineer when I grew up. So I pretend to be one now. A backyard engineer.

I reached my current height as a senior in high school. I haven’t grown any “upper”, since.

In my 60’s and I’m still on a Calvin journey.
