This is not the sequel you were looking for.

Is Brewster about to have a déjà vu experience?

I wonder if Brewster will be disappointed by “A New Hope”, the special effects would be a bit of a letdown from the prequel trilogy.

The Empire Strikes Back is my personal favorite out of all the other Star Wars movies

This kind of arbitrary release sequence reminds me of “The Prisoner” being shown on the local PBS station as part of a fund drive. There was the order the episodes were filmed and the different order they were originally aired. But this station had an EXPERT who insisted on showing the episodes to us in the order he insisted they should be seen .

Episodes 1 – 3, Rogue One, Episodes 4 – 6. Clone Wars animated series between 2 & 3 and The Bad Batch animated series after Episode 3 but before Rogue One and 4, Rebels animated series between 3 & 4 with a little overlap during Rogue One. (If you look closely you can see the Ghost at the Battle of Scarif) Everything else, IMHO, are the masturbatory imaginings of middle schoolers with too much high tech and too much time on their hands. I am still flabbergasted that The Acolyte has a larger budget than The House of the Dragon or whatever that GOT prequel is named. Jar Jar Abrams is rumoured to have said after finishing Episode 9, “George had outlines?” [for his movies and trilogies]

The biggest problem with Rogue One was waiting until 1977 for the sequel

When it first came out, in 1977, it was just Star Wars. It wasn’t until later, after its surprise success at the box office, that Lucas started talking about 9 parts, with the original being the 4th. I, being young and naïve, assumed that these books existed. I went nuts trying to find them!According to the official Star Wars website: “In the original May 1977 release of Star Wars, the opening crawl did not feature an Episode number or the subtitle “A New Hope.” Those would be added with the film’s April 10, 1981, theatrical re-release.”

The only sequel of Star Wars I am waiting for decades is Spaceballs 2
