truly enjoy the art when Cal is frantic. Depicts the emotions normal folks feel but hide in times of stress.

I’m betting Suzie knows that if she has gotten just 2 of the questions correct, she’s gonna win that bet. In fact, I’m betting Suzie knew that 3 weeks ago!

Before the quiz, Calvin was all up for betting 25 cents on who gets a higher grade. When it’s apparent he’s flunked, then he’s all “No bets! No gambles!”

I did have one student who had a horrible problem with day-dreaming that killed his test-taking (even when he knew the material).

It’s not like Calvin has any money anyway. He’ll have to sit through one of Susie’s tea parties

Calvin, imagination can be a curse if you don’t manage it, you’ll get the hang of it.
