Hand AND Feet? Your physician may need to adjust your BP medication… or, check for Diabetes. Widespread peripheral ‘tingling’ and numbness could be a serious circulatory condition as well. But, I am not a Veterinarian – don’t do Bears ;)
Don’t know about the feet. but hands can be cubital and/or carpal tunnel problems. It’s really great to have had so many days in my life, but it’s getting harder to keep life in my days.
Husband will put a movie on TV for “Friday night midnight movie on TV” or for “Saturday night date night movie on TV” and sit in his chair. (My chair is too big to move into position and I was sitting on a kitchen chair for these events, but since my feet do not reach the floor when I do same, we agreed I could sit sideways on the couch with my feet up on it instead.) Understand – the idea was to play movie theater.
Now, he has picked the movie. He has set up the idea of the movie nights. (Saturday is what we have been doing since Covid started as we used to go weekly to the movies before same. Friday is based on when we used to go to midnight movies on Friday nights while dating while in college.)
About 15 minutes into the movie – he will generally fall asleep and I am stuck watching the movie. I will prod him and he will wake up, apologize, and then fall asleep again – repeat numerous times.
After a certain age, you have to check if all appendages are ready for duty before trying to stand up. Otherwise, you may end up face down on the floor.

Sitting too long with the back of your knees pressed against the seat contributes to ‘Restless Leg Syndrome,’ and difficulty getting to sleep.

My restless leg syndrome doesn’t give ’em time to go to sleep…or me.

I hate it when my leg goes to sleep in the daytime. That means it’s going to be up all night.

He should turn to Uncle Ted from “The Born Loser” to get tips on relaxing.
