Oh eye sees.

Until then, everything looked like a ‘Penthouse’ pictorial. (—

I think the only time my Wife’s glasses get cleaned, is when I do it for her.

Yes I do not clean my glasses as often as I should … My Bad ;-)

Leave my glasses alone! I’ll clean them after everyone else wipes the huge fingerprints off their faces.

When I got LASIK, my left eye is for distance, right eye was trimmed to 30 cm, AKA mono-vision. Useful for reading, computer screens and seeing that my driving glasses are dirty.

My glasses are so scratched and pitted that it doesn’t do much good to clean them. Need to wait until my next eye exam before getting new ones. Anti-scratch coating didn’t do much good.

And we don’t realize just how old and scratched up they’ve gotten until we finally get around to getting new ones.

She upgraded to microfiber cleaning cloth.

I had a coworker who was brilliant but basically an absent minded Professor. His wife was out of town one week and I realized she must’ve always cleaned his glasses because I couldn’t see his eyes they were so dirty I took them off and clean them for him

The last time I replaced my windshield, it was like having a five-foot-wide cataract removed. :)

I have worn glasses for over 60 years. Back then if the eyeglasses were dropped, the lenses being actual glass they would break. First change was when “shatter resistant” glass came along and later plastic for lenses – liked the glass better.

My husband has worn glasses for maybe 15 years since he had cataract surgery. He will pick up a pair of my glasses, look at then and ask how do you see with them that dirty? His have to be pristine clean for him to be able to use them. I tell him that I just look around the dirt. Then again, since I am looking around the floaters in my eyes it is not that much harder to see around the dirty spots on the glasses.

I am not sure if it is that I have worn them since around second grade or so and I just used t them or I just adjust better to things that they has never bothered me as he does him.
