I guess in all long-term relationships we know who is the boss.. or as my Father used to say when I asked him if I could go to play in the park when I was 8, which was the same reply he got when was a boy probably and most likely my grandfather as well: go ask your mother!… which I knew would mean I would have to show her I did all my homework and either dad would have to come too to watch me or she would tell me to just go play in the yard, and wow be to me if I dared venture out without permission.
