Speechless.

In the 50’s, he was commissioned a 2LT in the U.S. Army, and even graduated from Ranger school. So he was a legit bad a$$ before he was one in the movies. That blew my mind.

The Force will be with him…ALWAYS.

I saw Jones starring in a play in the mid-1960s and instantly became a fan. (By the way, the play was – appropriately – The Emperor Jones .)

A magnificent voice is now quiet. RIP JEJ! You’ll be missed.
