How about a buy one, get one free offer ? Everyone could use a nice Tea cozy !

Maybe branch out into coffee cozies, hot chocolate cozies? Get beer cozies, something that will keep the beer cold. Tell you what boss, I’ll meet you half way and think of ways to increase my revenue stream.

How about reducing prices and more advertising.

Remember students at our grade school (3 to 8) had a bake sale, stuff they brought from home. A group of girls had made a big sign that read ‘dognuts’ were they had meant doughnuts…

I’m sure Veeblefester has already thought of this, but Brutus, you could suggest built in obsolescence. After all there is a limit to how many tea cosies one can sell.

The big sale is not a bad idea. You can display all the doilies under different pastries and cakes. Something like a Tupperware sale.

That could help only if Gladys doesn’t contribute any sweets. The lawsuits from the food poisoning would bankrupt the company!

Possibly a fire sale? Actually, for tea cosies, that might be difficult as they are a specialty item with a limited market. Might want to expand out into tablecloths, napkins and table accessories along with tea sets. However, he probably already has a monopoly on this market…..

Good idea for a tea cozy company.

The best thing Brutus can do to increase revenue would find job somewhere else. Of course it won’t boost it by much considering what he gets paid.

Maybe Brutus could suggest water bottle cozies with handles. Everyone seems to be walking around with water bottles, not hot tea pots.

You may not generate any revenue, but a batch of cookies or brownies are a sweet distraction.

Nice try, Gladys, but it won’t work unless all of Veeblefester’s employees — and their families — are required to attend and spend. Can’t imagine too many members of the general public stepping up to contribute to this cause.

Maybe Brutus should suggest that Veeblefester branch out into other high-end kitchen items. I get the feeling they only make tea cozies, which doesn’t exactly strike me as a winning business model. Reminiscent of the sketch from the early years of SNL about the Scotch Tape Store.
