Each year I buy using GoodRx and beat the insurance costs. The insurance deductible is higher than the yearly cost of GoodRx. I keep the insurance drug option for catastrophic drug costs. You know, the 15 dollar aspirin at the hospital etc.
How else are the CEOs of the insurance companies and the pharmaceutical companies supposed to earn tens of millions of dollars a year if they don’t make sure we overpay for everything. So glad I live in a country where this isn’t the case (most of the world other than the US).
