Kevin has dyslexia, so he’s supposed to be in the Special Ed class to help him learn how to deal with it & be able to get more individualized help in doing so. (Carla also has been in that class, for an un-noted reason.) Special Ed allows students with learning problems get help in handling them, without the press of 30-35 other students also needing the educator’s attention, amongst many other things.
When I was a kid,we lived a half block from a Catholic Church / School. It was “common knowledge” among us Protestant kids, that if you went into that Church and a Priest caught you touching the Altar, you would be “turned into” a Catholic. (Which is why we would gather by the front doors and take turns running up to touch it. None of us ever got caught, but I don’t know if any adults knew what we were doing.) Kids !
wow. talk about backstabbing and gaslighting on another level. Carla has lost her kudos. (I work on a kudos based merit system. currently miles has kudos)
Writing from my spouses account as I don’t have one. I want to say that this was one of my favorite episodes on one of my favorite strips. I loved the featured teacher, and his style of teaching and fashion. And his face well done! Some of them I wish would hurry up and get onto the next, but this one I’d hoped would go on even longer all in all, I love the diverse adventures, the ones that are the full fantasies, and the ones that are the on spot realities.

I find this arc difficult to relate to because I don’t understand the nature of this “special ed” classroom. I’m not sure where this is going, or why.

Good luck with brainwashing Miles! He’s not as gullible as Kevin!

Yeah, about now you could use a good washin’, Miles, even if it was Carla that got you all riled up.
Nice zinger, Carla.
