In Alaska we watched bears catching Salmon, biting off the heads to eat and throwing the rest away.
Mmmm, already eaten salmon, tasty!!!
Brings to mind the Netflix series âGrizzly and the Lemmings.â
Check it out.. imaginative animation series (6 minute segments) set in the Great Northwest.
So they can visible see what the catch of the is.
The prices are so high because they have to keep hiring new net holders, after they expire unexpectedly.
Who doesnât love an entree with a backstory?
Iâd pay more for a grizzly that was caught by a salmon.

I donât think there are too many grizzlies right now that would give up the salmon they catch since they are fattening up before hibernating.
These bears need to organize a union! They are unpaid workers. The occasional patron who doesnât pay for their meal doesnât count as wages.
I think the only reason this hasnât actually been tried is the impossibility of training the bears to cooperate.
