When the skies of November turn gloomy

It is supposed to be in the low 80s here next week.

Actually they talked about Thanksgiving both years.

November was hoping that Nate would Fall for it again.

He’s getting closer all the time, Nate.

We’ve been almost 20 degrees F (about 10 degrees C) above normal this week and it looks to continue.

With the warmer than expected weather lately, maybe Nate’s efforts throughout the years are beginning to have some impact on November!

Then why ask?

I’ve always liked November. The weather isn’t horrible, and there’s a nice calm-before-the-storm feeling to the month.

Lots of Turkey and Dressing and all the trimmings followed by Pumpkin Pie piled with Whipped Cream. And this year a bonus! The end of political campaign ads.

why do the months all look like elves?

If this week is any indication of next week, he’s not wrong. Fall is getting warmer and summer temps are lasting longer. Can you say ’climate change"?The local trees are still full green. Very few have started to change color.

We look forward to it!!!

Um, (hand raised tenuously) I actually like November. It gives a place for my melancholy to go and read “The Raven” and other such frolics and not feel out of place. And then, well, at the end, a really nice meal followed hopefully by waking up to snow one day. What’s not to like? C’mon, Nate…a little love?

I will be so #&^%ing glad to be done with the 80º+ days we have had almost without stop for months now. It would really be nice to have some comfortable weather in the low-mid 70º range.

He’s not lying. It’s perfect 70 degree days in November here in Mesa, Arizona.

i’m really looking forward to the gale winds off the ocean combined with occasional flurries and endless cloudy days… ☺

November here in Canada is a mixed bag. Mostly cold and rainy and dark.

Does anyone know how to tell the truth anymore?

We’ve had some awesome autumn colors locally this year … so cool to see. Pretty perfect temps, too, to be honest. Maybe I could get used to this time of year after all?
