Years ago, a workmate invited me over for a beer … his homemade beer.I took a couple of sips and proclaimed that it had a very nice cider taste. He almost threw me out. Apparently that is indicative of a bad brew .. who knew?
Safer giving him milk Bub than no such drink as non-alcoholic ale. Non-alcoholic Yes – Ale NO. Like saying non-alcoholic BEER, non-alcoholic WINE or non-alcoholic LIQUOR. I’m guessing Constable Alan will be working a fight soon.

Good grief, Flo! Why’d you have to bring HIM along?? You know the evening will be a disaster—especially when non-alcoholic ale is served!

I’m surprised Andy didn’t bring his own. And what do you wanna bet they don’t make it to dinner.

Just don’t TELL Andy it’s not booze. Unless you’re a former drinker, bragging – sheesh!

You be OK if Andy doesn’t hit people wearing glasses.

How does one make non-alcoholic beer? I would think it would be difficult for a home brewer.

This is cruelty to us readers, to leave us hanging like this. But then they are protecting us from the foul language that’s about to ensue.

Is this a follow up to “Frank and Ernest” of foreshadowing for Calvin in “Calvin and Hobbes”? Dilly! Dilly!

His home brew might be delicious but Andy is looking for the buzz he gets from driving alcoholic ale, so it will be an evening breaker!!

Drinking NA beer is like kissing your sister. Sure, in the beginning it seems OK, but it goes downhill fast.
