Candy corn = colorful sugar sweet teeth made of wax! Horrible!

According to my calendar, it is candy corn pizza day.Means pizza made to LOOK like candy corn, not pizza covered in candy corn!

Hmmmm….Mozzarella in the middle. A circle of diced yellow peppers around that & an outer circle of pepperoni & don’t let the pizza bake so long the pepperoni turns black??? Or, orange diced peppers & pieces of Italian beef, to look like the ones that are “harvest” colored; white, orange, brown.

Circus Peanuts

Ick.

For me it would be anything with peanuts. Peanuts are a healthy “good for you” snack which I enjoy on their own, but peanuts and peanut butter have absolutely no business being in anything that calls itself “candy" (or “dessert”)!! Charlie Brown often bemoans coconut (which I enjoy) but for me the ultimate “booby prize” was making a selection from a box of chocolates to find out I’d gotten an …ugh!…PEANUT BUTTER one.

What’s that phrase? To each his own. For me anything hard candy textured is out or super chewy. So that’s what I buy.

I’ve come to the realization that this is the first Halloween since I retired and I cannot take the leftover candy to work next day. I’m in trouble…

Almost anything gummy: worms, bears, sours…I just don’t like ’em.
