Awfully small for a roast turkey. Looks more like a chicken.

If you want to see really fascinating events that began in Pilgrim days, I suggest watching the straight-to-DVD movie SCOOBY DOO ON ZOMBIE ISLAND. It’s terrific, although it might be too frightening for small children, who may better enjoy Clayton’s silly “graphic novel” better.

Thou dost not want to make a giant turkey angry.

Thou wilt not like it when it’s angry.

You will need an Acme sized turkey deep fryer once you bring it down, no bird shot will not do.

As as 1770s reenactor – I will take leave to throw into these postings – The USA has entered it’s 250th anniversary celebrations. As we go into 2025 and further forward there will be numerous reenactments and other events to celebrate and remember the birth of our country. While there will probably more events along the east coast, there will be events across the country. Particularly if you have children – reenactments are a great & fun way to learn about the period and the people who were here – both native and European. (Any questions will be gladly answered.)
