Sir Rodney is always looking for a steed that can outrun the Hun.

“King” Richard Petty did that years ago. He affixed a spoiler to his car and NASCAR ended up banning that. He sat out a year.

That explains the larger air intake too.

I’m reminded of a televised race a couple of years ago. One of the broadcast team pointed out that jockeys don’t sit on their saddles DURING the race; they stand in the stirrups and crouch over their horses’ necks. He asked for a couple of volunteers to try to crouch for two minutes, the approximate time it takes to run a (very fast) Kentucky Derby. Two guys took him up on it. At the end of two minutes their legs ached and they had greater respect for the athleticism of jockeys, who after all do their crouches for anywhere from a minute to two and a half minutes while going up to 30 mph.
