I find it irksome that one cannot even find a (relatively) inexpensive digital media player these days.

As soon as I saw the silhouette and iPod mention, the opening lines of “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” by Jet started going through my head. Yep, I saw that commercial a lot back then. :-)

I still have one in the car, and I use the maps on the phone. It would be hard to play music and use the maps at the same time on the phone, but not impossible

On a positive note, I still have my old iPod and the earbuds do not fall out like this airpods things – and if they do, I find them because they are attached!

I wonder if there are any readers of this strip who are too young to remember the early 00s, and what they think of images like these.
