To be fair, you don’t need gifts everyday, you don’t need costumes everyday, you don’t need candy and cookies everyday. You do need nourishment though. A turkey dinner any other night is still a dinner.
When I ate meat, turkey was one of the only ones I liked. I had it regularly. The way hubby cooked it for Thanksgiving and Christmas didn’t work for ne.
No you don’t. Oh, wait, maybe you do. You have the “right” to live in your parents house rent free, provided with food, clothes, heat, water, a bed. In return you can be grateful for all these things and help out around the house when asked.

I have my own pre-Halloween and pre-Christmas rituals. I buy candy, run out of candy, buy more candy….

We didn’t have “rights” when I was young. We earned privileges, but just as easily lost them.

On Father’s Day I asked my parents why there wasn’t a Children’s Day. My dad said EVERY day was Children’s Day.

Boy, you spent the entire MONTH of October laser focused on Halloween. You need to hush. You and your sister both.

I can think of some place these two need a strike…just not the same kind they are talking about.

The mice ran up the clock,

The other two mice barely escaped.

Seriously? These days, Christmas basically starts in September. If that’s not a pre-Christmas, I don’t know what is.
