I would go along with that for a simple definition vs a narcissist like Ramona who believes she is always right and is always the center of her perceived universe and lacks any empathy for anyone other than herself……

Brutus loves to mansplain things

We are all closet egotists. We all have a secret opinion of ourselves that we are just a little bit better than the next guy. The paradox is that while harboring that feeling we also celebrate the seeming superiority of certain individual such as athletes, movie stars and such. Amazing how Brutus encompasses all of this.
