Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I’m surprised a strip that paints the lrish as being aggresive and violent managed to see the light of day in this modern ‘PC’ world.I’m on the fence with this one.
How will I let the audience know that a fight will happen because the character is Irish? I’ll name the character Eamon. But wait – some people might not know that Eamon is an Irish name. I’ll mention Guinness… but you don’t necessarily have to be Irish to drink Guinness. Screw it, I’ll make his nickname “Irish”
Great stuff! Really humourous responces without any malice. It’s clear no one was offended by today’s strip and neither was l. Unfortunately l jumped off the fence and landed in cow dung.
With a completely different context, some years ago I started helping with child care & children’s Sunday School at our church. Infants up to 2-3 years old.
After the first Sunday of doing that I learned to not wear a suit & tie to church when I would do child care.
If you read my comment properly you’ll see l expressed surprise that today’s strip passed the censorship of today’s PC brigade.I did not express that l was personally offended and said repeatedly l was on the fence.

I find it hard to believe he owns a suit, let alone one that’s new.

Bet Andy starts the fight in any case.

Looks like summer with Flo wearing summer clothes but It’s December!!!!

Why would that worthless, lazy, unemployed, couch slob, SOB even OWN a suit?
markkahler52 3 months ago
Meet the new suit…same as the old suit!

When I lived in Scotland (in the 60’s) the tables and chairs were all bolted to the floor in the pubs. No women allowed.

Better logic would be to opt out of the fisticuffs, but Capp doesn’t know how.

John Wayne and Victor Mc Laglen will be at the party

I guess Andy wears his tatty old suit to any party he goes to. Knowing how a “Do” ends up with Andy around.

Andy’s logic, that is……………

Yes, there is, Flo.

I guess that suit will never be worn, he can pick a fight at a funeral.

I’m half Irish and half Setter, and wasn’t the least bit offended.

But what if Andy is the orchestrator of the fight this time? It can happen. And his clothes are already tatty so…

Thems his fighting clothes.

The fight is probably the only reason Andy’s going to the party.

Who takes fashion advice from a woman who is going to a party in a sleeve-less flower print dress? Not Andy!
