“Once” again? You said it him yesterday, Ed, and the day before that, too. I’d expect you to say it again tomorrow, except that Tuesday or Wednesday will be the obligatory one- or two-panel strip of Ralph sitting on his sofa, watching the video of his late wife and son, with a tear passing down his cheek.

It’s funny because somebody accidentally recorded “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” over the Christmas experience—but with all the repeated art and stories in this strip, the perfect song for the season is “Let’s Do the Time Warp Again!”

Hope the tape is still good. Storing those things in the attic is not a good idea. It’s best to take it to a professional and let her transfer it to a DVD before you try to play it or you may find the tape wrapped around the heads in your machine.

Now just tries playing that old theeng which might has all data on it all garbled by now on a player which ain’t gonna plays anymore. Yeah merry Christmas all right.

Ed probably taped over it ha ha

3 days in a row we’re told this, without ANY context that this is Xmas, besides the tree multiple times. “It’s called padding.”

Then they put it in and found out somebody taped over the original contents with the 1986 Super Bowl.

This has been the same exact thing for five or six days. And it wasn’t that great the first time.

Judging by the size of the hubs on that tape, it’s one hour on SP and two hours on LP. It’s probably no longer than a half hour.

I hope the tape brings the joy it was intended to bring.

This story line started on the 19th, when Cranky found the tape. In 5 days, this is as far as we’ve gotten.

2 hours of Cranky trimming Ralph’s Christmas tree with a 32-inch bar lumberjack chainsaw.

I have a device that will play VHS but I also know that eventually the tapes will age out. Still, I have hundreds almost useless VHS tapes.

Will there ever be an explanation as to why a tape of Ralph’s would be in Ed’s attic? Not counting on it.

Judging by the way the toxic black Centerville mold is enveloping the tape in panel one, there’ll be nothing but gunk by the time Ralph starts the VCR.
