In my area there is a very small window to get rid of your Christmas tree. Normal trash… won’t take them. Most times you have to find the organization who is orchestrating turning them into mulch. If Leopold wanted… he could charge for this service!
I spent years repairing brush chippers. One of the adjustments involved propping open the feed rollers and crawling inside it to set clearance on the bed knife. I always disconnected the battery and put the keys in my pocket.
We have a brush pile in the wooded area behind our house. Quite a bit of it is made up of old Christmas trees. The animals have made dens under and throughout it.
