Guess all that exploring tired Garfield out.

The interior could use some pillows

When our cat was a kitten she loved hiding out in a tissue box, in later life, if she found an empty tissue box around she would “get in it” even though she was bigger than the box and she hung out all around it.

The cat trap is working.

Boxes also prove a little bit of privacy to take a nap.

Jon must have left that box out in the open.

Now all we need is for Nermal to sneak in, seal the box and ship Garfield to Abu Dhabi!

That’s one way. I also seem to recall that many decades ago, an empty refrigerator box served quite well one summer as an ad hoc mobile home.

In other words, the primary use of a box for cats is for the altogether worthy purpose of energy conservation.

Reminds me of box o fun from garfield and friends loved that when I was a kid.

One of our three MUST inspect all boxes that come in, just in case one is a better sleeping spot than the current box. Another likes laying on square things, like the padded paper envelopes Amazon uses for some smaller items. I think he likes the crinkliness of it. The oldest sometimes cares about boxes, but mostly because the youngest loves his boxes. Cats are funny like that.

My cats always liked to get in paper grocery bags.

I remember a photo of a tiger that was a tad too big for the box he was in. Cats love boxes no matter what size they are.
