Sorry Woodstock, the insurance company would say act of God and it’s out of their reach, but they are glad you’ve been paying them.

A “look” at the policy would not be a single page — set aside several hours for trying to plow through all the gobble-de-gook legal reasons they won’t pay, even though your bank wants it before granting a mortgage.

This ’toon seems especially poignant today. Did Charles Schulz draw this in Heaven and send it down?

For your life, health, auto, or home owner’s policy – get a piece of the rock. (Prudential Insurance).

People (and birds) who live in igloos should not have wood stoves.

Gosh I had no idea that Snoopy and his dog house was within walking distance of the land of the midnight sun.

St. Paul Minnesota is THAT far north?

You should have made your home out of styrofoam, Woodstock. You could have held it together with ig glue.

We’re supposed to get a fair amount of snow here today, and more overnight. I don’t plan to make anything out of it, though.

Yep, first the insurance companies stop covering housed if there are trees around, next they will stop covering houses if there is snow around.

Homeowner’s won’t cover that. Snowmelt is considered ‘flooding.’ Woodstock needed to buy a flood insurance policy.
