Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your

Had Zoe not said what she said in panel 3, Wanda would not have been concerned enough to snoop. But since Zoe DID say it, I think Wanda is justified. Parents have a right and responsibility to monitor their children’s emotional health, as they have a responsibility for their physical health. 12 years down the road, she doesn’t want to start a conversation with Darryl with “We need to talk about Zoe.”
As has been stated, Zoe’s secrets will likely turn out to be no big deal. That being the case, she can set her mind at ease unless/until something else comes up.
I used to feel a loss for not having sisters or daughters, but now, I don’t know. Having a granddaughter is becoming a time of learning for me. Little boys, I’ve got that handled, but little girls………
Oh, h e double hockey sticks no, Wanda. You do NOT read your daughter’s journal unless you have reason to believe she’s in immanent danger. You just DON’T.

If you find a screwdriver that fits abnormal 5 sided screws, that may provide a hint as to where it is.

What is wrong with you, woman! Isn’t a kid’s privacy sacred to parents anymore?

Ah, but she never said those were her confessions, etc. They’re probably what Zoe’s got on Hammie. Future tattling RUINED!

I kept a journal once, but I wrote it in Elvish script (Tengwar), so few besides me could read it.

Zoe should just write her diary in cursive. That would protect her from Hammie, maybe even from Wanda.

If you can’t afford to get your kid a bike, you are not ready to be a parent. Nuff said.
