Since HH brought it up, who would Brutus want to listen to for that long? I’m guessing the answer to both questions might be Uncle Ted. (Hope I got his name right.)
Hattie, Brutus is old school like me. Maybe not quite as old school as I am, though. Growing up, we didn’t have cellphones, and we go along fine not talking to someone every waking moment of the day. Gave us something to talk about when we did call or saw people in person. Also allowed us to interact with the world around us. Now people can’t even get off the phone long enough to interact with a clerk to buy a soft drink at the Kwik Stop.
I, for one, would love to make the acquaintance of Brutus and to be his friend. And l believe that l am not alone in that feeling. if Brutus ever needs to burn off a lot of those minutes, let me know and he can have my number…..

I know one little person who I wish would shut up and not talk to me anymore. Why don’t you go home?

Any gift he gets is from himself. It is a one income household. If she paid the power bill for him each month would they have extra money?

Reminds me of the 3 1/2” floppy discs that gave you a whopping 5 hours of FREE AOL for a month. Had to budget about 10 minutes a day. Good times!

Apparently, she has yet to learn what it’s like to call any kind of Doctor or business, and wait on hold for 2-3 hours.

Yesterday Ramona. Today Hattie. Poor Brutus can’t sit in his own chair without attracting the riffraff.

I’ve never understood unlimited minutes. I mean, there are only sixty of them in an hour.

Yeah, that 57K network signal was awful slow! Google is offering 1 – 2 gig now, but the 2 gig has a few bugs.

I’ve had unlimited talk and text since I became a senior, those cell phone services know old people have a small circle of friends or what?
