Regarding the lending of books, French author Anatole France is quoted as saying, “Never lend books, for no one ever returns them; the only books I have in my library are books that other folks have lent me”.

That problem can be cured with a shoe, Horace!

I have an old set of tools that I use as loaners.

Before you loan out a tool, why not shake a little salt on it…!

Well, that sucks.

Some stools get taken and recycled by animals.

It’s dye makers that tend to hide out in their tool room.

There’s also a packrat who never returns the tools he burrows. :) :(
