So there I was. I had my tube of DAB sealant, but my Powerpump 101 caulk gun was missing. I know I had it just a while ago. It had a tube stuck on it, and I had spent some time removing it. Now, it was missing. I checked all the usual places, especially the garage, which was where I was sure I had seen it last. No luck. Finally, I had to admit defeat. Maybe I had thrown it away, because of the complications of having had a tube stuck on it. I decided to hop down to Ace and get a new one. As I was about to get into the car, I spied it, hanging on the corner of wire shelf, under an umbrella. Hurray! I retrieved it from its perch and realized that it was a bit rusty and gummed up, and while I had thought that I must have thrown it out, I now recognized that I should have. So I did, and hopped down to the Ace, where I was able to procure a Newborn 111-CB, WITH a spout cutter and a caulk buddy tool. ( The CB stands for Caulk Buddy? ) It’s a Christmas Miracle! Now I will be able to secure my side splash and seal my vanity top to my wall.
