Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
There is a form of pencil sketch art I saw a few years ago where the drawing of a person looks like it is struggling to get up off the paper into three dimensions. Way more imagination and talent than I will ever possess.
I love how this comic turns the standard tropes on their head, like how upon realizing his Magic Marker made the monster real, Lio isn’t scared or worried but rather he is so enthused he actually doubles down! Super fun.
I’ve used dozens, if not hundreds, of name brand Magic Markers over the years, including the original ones in a glass bottle with a wick. I used one just the other day even. Not a one of them was magical like this. I feel cheated and would like my money back!

Lio has the chalk… I mean marker. Or Lio and the purple marker. Whatever fits your fun here.

Lio should at least draw a new wall.

Fun fact: Harold, the boy with the crayon, is called Pelle here in Sweden. That’s our typical little boy’s name, like Timmy in the USA.
