Flo complimenting Capp on his skill. Although she might be unaware of paying position of employment would effect the dole money and totally disrupt Capp’s budget and cadging plans. A nice thought from Flo, but coming with catastrophic consequence.

Andy you should apply and earn some beer money

I was on a work study program in college, processing paperwork in the admissions office mail room. One day I walked in and the supervisor, who was a grad student at another school, handed me a copy of the art school course catalog and told me to look through it for someone I knew. I was unsuccessful, so he had me turn to a certain page. There was Michael, the supervisor, sitting on a stool in front of the life drawing class. When I stopped laughing, I asked him to autograph it.

Only Andy Capp would turn down a job that would pay him to do… well…, pretty much nothing.

Naked? Andy? I’d rather see a manatee.
