The dog does not care about what kind of wood it is . Dogs just want to run and play which = Fun ;-)

Yep, modern American education on display. A piece of driftwood, notice the last part of the word is WOOD, isn’t a stick.

    stick1

    /stik/

    noun

    1. a thin piece of wood that has fallen or been cut from a tree.

The dog won’t be the last time that stick is moved.

The doggo looks so thrilled with the stick…or driftwood…! All he hears from his owner is “MWOMP MWOMP MWOMP”

It’s a stick. For some dogs it’s very valuable and must be carried around and protected.

The pup is happy and so excited that her feet hardly touch the ground. Her human is just wasting his breath❣

To a dog a stick is a stick, driftwood, walking cane or baseball bat.

My exuberant, over-achieving Aussie Cattle dog mix would grab big ol’ tree branches and take off with them…until one end or the other hit something, followed by a loud ki-yi yelp!
