Among my neighbors, there are various political opinions. The ones who differ most from mine will try to engage me in political arguments. A couple of days ago one did that, and I told him that I enjoyed having him as my neighbor, and I would enjoy it even more if we would refrain from talking about politics.

Do we need a monument for that???

I wish people were allowed to change their minds. Sometimes new information comes along that alters what you believe. I respect someone who is open to reason.

I suspect that there will be a lot of this in the near future, when some people come to realize that there will not be and .25¢ a dozen eggs or .50¢ a gallon gas in their future as they were promised.

I saw a cartoon somewhere else where Mark Zuckerberg is sitting on a bull holding up its tail with the caption reading “Meta’s new policy”. I really did laugh especially after taking the time to listen to him on his podcast with Joe Rogan. In case you don’t know – amongst the many things he spoke about, he believes society has become neutered or emasculated and a lot of the corporate world is pretty culturally neutered and masculine energy is good, and agression in companies is good. If I get one more infantile recommendation to follow a MAGA cultist on my Facebook account, I will puke.
