Poor pig. Way too literal.

Pig misunderstood. A last minute invite is when he’s invited at 1:59.

Maybe Pig was invited to make sure all the others left on time.

Hopefully there were some leftovers.

I stand with pig on this

And after Pig took the trouble to dress up.

If Pig thought 2 to 5 meant the party started at 2 minutes to 5, he’d only be a minute late.

Invites can be confusing!

Who has a party in the afternoon ? Probably had a small turnout.

Poor Pig. All dressed up and nowhere to go.

When you don’t want to be rude and decline, but you really don’t want to make insipid small talk with a bunch of semi-acquaintances for hours.

Sorry, Pig, party’s over.

It appears that neighbor Bob’s fists are doubled up. Don’t go back. Unless you’re ready to be pork chops.

I thought pigs were intelligent.

I just love it when one of them sits on the pillow and the Pigs tie is so cool : )

He missed the leaping of the candle and other shenanigans. It was quiet a party. Ties were mandatory, however.

It sounds like an invite received at the last minute.

Looks like somebody shoulda given the pig a poke.

That’s a really snazzy (clip on) tie Pig is sporting. Trying to figure out to what is it clipped on to….

“Sorry l’m late. I forgot to put my alarm clock back last night.”

“The clocks didn’t go back last night!”

“I know. It was in the kitchen. I forgot to put it back in the bedroom.”

Neighbor Bob was never on time, himself, till he got a smartwatch. But he still gets lost, being too impatient for at least four satellites to come up.

For Rat, on the other hand, that’s exactly what it meant. Of course, he didn’t bother to go.
