Sheep shears? OK, but before you start, hold up the shears and say, “Hmmm, no, these are too small. I’ll need something bigger.”

Then, while he is puffing up about his size, whip out the steer emasculator
 and emasculate!

You just can’t make this stuff up:

Mississippi State Senator Bradford Blackmon has sparked a debate after introducing a provocative new bill titled the “Contraception Begins at Erection Act.”

The legislation proposes making it “unlawful for a person to discharge genetic material without the intent to fertilize an embryo,” taking aim at the male role in reproduction. Under the proposed law, violators would face escalating penalties, culminating in a $10,000 fine for a third offense.

In a statement to WLBT News, Blackmon addressed the bill’s intent, explaining that it challenges the one-sided nature of many reproductive health laws.

“All across the country, especially here in Mississippi, the vast majority of bills relating to contraception and/or abortion focus on the woman’s role when men are fifty percent of the equation,” Blackmon said.

Just in case there’s any doubt, the repugnant meme “Your Body, My Choice, Forever” is real. It was posted by a infamous American neo-nazi the day after the presidential election and it quickly gained popularity in some dark corners of the internet.

I copied and put this where those who don’t read the ‘replies’ can see it.BeeKay about 2 hours agoRep. Blackmon issued this statement:

PRESS STATEMENT: The filing of this bill is to point out the double standards in legislation. You have male dominated legislatures in Mississippi and all over the country that pass laws that dictate what a woman can and can not do with her body. I was raised by strong parents that preached equality for all. My mother and my father both believe in equal rights for women. One of the reasons why this legislation is so important is that with the overturning of Roe v. Wade, it has not only impacted women’s ability to get abortion care but it has also affected women’s ability to access basic gynecological care that includes contraceptive care. When a bill has been filed that would regulate what a man is able to do with his own body in his own home, it suddenly has people in an uproar. I am trying to figure out when it isn’t okay for the government to dictate what you do in the privacy of your own home, apparently it is when the laws regulate men. The reactions from some quarters relating to my bill, indicates that men are not held to the same standard when it comes to the intrusion into their personal private affairs as women have been held to with the reversal of Roe vs. Wade. It is rich that the landmark Supreme Court decision of Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization began it all, here, in the State of Mississippi.

I have his name and address, but I won’t post it. It’s easy to find. In fact, if you watch Svengoolie, he mentions the suburb often. He’s in trouble for assaulting a woman who dared to ring his doorbell.

But, if you have an especially big mouth, it might cost you $83 + $5 million. The cost for this type of attitude used to be high, before outright criminality was allowed.

If only she could have clipped his father.

Come to think of it, that would probably dissuade many a parent: “If you produce children bad enough, we’ll neuter YOU.”

(It would strike fear in MY heart.)

Jimmy Carr has a version of this, “Sure, you can have sex with anyone you want at anytime you wish, as long as it’s with me, when I say.”

Carr can say this and “get away” with it because that’s his schtick and we know what to expect. Sort of like a Benny Hill with an “enhanced” vocabulary.

Excellent cartoon making a serious point. A corollary assertion: Women ( for purposes of this argument I’m asserting ‘women’ exist without need of further definition) should absolutely and certainly have sovereignty over their own bodies and reproductive choices. They do not, however, have such sovereignty over another person’s life or death. At some point in its development, the ‘clump of cells’ developing in a woman’s womb has become another person. Serious thought and scientific endeavor, as well as much political fervor and speculation, is currently being devoted to defining when that point is.
