I love it when we arrive at a date that features an iconic scene.

I think there’s a saying about having the sense to come in out of the rain, or at least, go in your doghouse.

They are salves for people who don’t have common sense

Snoop, why not invite your little friends in for some pool on a rainy day? While there they could also enjoy your Van Gogh, and quaff a few root beers.

He needs all the friends he can get.

In My Comics feed, this strip appears right after Steve Breen’s strip on migrants…they need some friends with umbrellas too.

A brace of brolly birds.

Due to the dimensional flexibilities of space-time (cartoon physics) the interior of Snoopy’s doghouse is massive, so much so that it was previously revealed that he even has a rec. room. This then begs the question of why he hasn’t invited Woodstock and friends inside for refreshments and dry accommodations. Yes, the joke would be lost but it might have been fun to see Charles play more with this concept instead of just the one or two cartoons of allowing Woodstock to throw big parties inside.

Good thing they’re not fair weather friends.

Is Woodstock one of a litter of septuplets? I know, I know….. birds hatch out of eggs, I was just joshing.

But, hmmm……. perhaps….. he has…. “identical cousins” aka Patty Duke? :)

Highly unlikely that a dog’s friends would all be birds. But then, he sleeps in the most uncomfortable place atop the dog house. And plays shortstop. Oh, forget trying to make sense of this.
