I think there’s a saying about having the sense to come in out of the rain, or at least, go in your doghouse.

They are salves for people who don’t have common sense

Snoop, why not invite your little friends in for some pool on a rainy day? While there they could also enjoy your Van Gogh, and quaff a few root beers.

He needs all the friends he can get.

Due to the dimensional flexibilities of space-time (cartoon physics) the interior of Snoopy’s doghouse is massive, so much so that it was previously revealed that he even has a game room. This then begs the question of why he hasn’t invited Woodstock and friends inside for refreshments and dry accommodations. Yes, the joke would be lost.
