When the can opener comes out cat food needs to be involved. My 4 just look at the clock.

So there’s the picture of Luddie jumping off a bed that we needed the other day.

I went to the beach and fed seagulls with fries out my car window. When I was done with my drink I threw out the ice cubes, and the birds descended on that. Oops.

I’ve had cats like that years ago, but I don’t see any wet food that uses can openers anymore. My cats now generally prefer cheap dry food to wet, or even expensive dry food, which seems unbelievable.

Cats around the world are confused these days. Cat food cans no longer need a can opener.

Doesn’t pet food come in a bag now?

If it’s not tuna I let my cat sniff the can and be disappointed. He’s learned that if the can comes his way it’s nothing interesting and doesn’t even bother to sniff it now.

My cats can tell the difference between cans of cat food and other cans.

When we switched to cat food in a zip-top can we were soon able to use the can opener for ourselves without attracting the cat.

I am glad to see Luddie. Missed him. While the regular cat food has a pop top, Sundays the kitties get tuna as a treat, so it’s still all hail the can opener around here

I’m afraid I don’t get it. Why would he come running for water chestnuts?

We have one cat that will pat your hand on the can opener if we are opening a can of tuna. Guess he thinks he is helping to speed the process up…

Feeding human food to wildlife can make them ill or die. Oops.

The sound used to be a cat magnet. Not so much anymore with pull top cans.

Very odd to see a cat with reddish-orange eyes. What’s up with that? Has he been smoking his catnip? Does he need a drop or two of Visine or what?

Thinking about it – and having used a can opener tonight to open a can of soup – mine does not really make any noise at all. I put the can in the opener’s holder and I turn the handle to get the can open – so really does not much make any noise at all. I suppose if I am careless and cut myself…
