Nothing entered, nothing gained. I’m too lazy to write a journal of my life. If I ever accomplish anything worthwhile on this earth, someone can write about it and God already knows it if someone doesn’t and that is all that counts to me. However, if Gladys is serious about writing a journal to reduce stress as her end game, she has the wrong motive. Just write about the weather of the day, add a news story of the day and a comment on how you feel about it just to get started. I am sure she will figure out more to write as time goes on. Also, I might choose the end of the day rather than the morning if she is going to set aside a time. However, just write no matter what. Nothing entered, nothing gained….
Ok let’s all channel Mel Brooks here (sing with me!): “High anxiety/ whenever you’re near/ High anxiety/ it’s you that I fear…”. Hey that would be a perfect theme song for Brutus when Rancid is nearby!

Anxiety is something that’s finally getting the attention of people. It can do strange things to a person.

Gladys obviously doesn’t have enough to do. She might look into getting a part time job and helping with expenses.

It’s true what they say! Write your feelings, activities and memories down and relieve your mind. Now the journal owns it! ☺️

maybe try drawing random things instead… but I’m sure you’d just end up with a similar problem. :J

I’m always amazed that the authors of these strips can come up with ideas day after day.

This reminds me of a line by Leonard in “The Big Bang Theory”:
“You know how insecure I am about my insecurities!”

Just write whatever is on your mind. Start with a line or two or fill the book about your anxiety. It might help.
