So now Trump is threatening to invade Panama, Greenland and make Canada our 51st “cherished state.” He is imposing massive tariffs on China, Mexico and Canada (then backtracking and “pausing” some of them when his action causes a massive stock market meltdown.

He is now threatening to send U.S. troops to take over Gaza, remove all its citizens in a total ethnic cleansing, and develop it into a “riviera” resort of the Middle East. He is shutting down foreign aid programs through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that will cause hundreds of thousands of people to die.

Gee, he is making friends all over the place.

Well, he did promise to improve international respect for America.

Meanwhile, China is funding massive aid, infrastructure and goodwill projects across South America and Africa, building goodwill and alliances and the support of local people. Foreign aid is a national security issue — it costs far less to prevent wars than to fund and fight them.

    China gets it.

John F Kennedy did not establish USAID and the Peace Corps out of pure altruism. He did it because he had seen war and wanted to prevent it. He did it to improve our standing in the international community.

And Trump is taking a wrecking ball to everything.

Today’s Stantis editorial cartoon is another near nothing burger, only offering indirect support for Trump’s attacks on education.

I guess today’s PC indicates that Stantis has actually heard of what Trump is doing. But he has basically no opinion.

With Trump. is not about “them,” but always, always about him.

Trump is desperate to get a Nobel Peace Prize like Obama. So he is going to put pressure on Israel to “make peace.” Yeah, sure, just like the Taliban made “peace.”

I agree that the Peace Prize should not have gone to Obama just for not being “W.” They lowered the bar and invited this kind of trouble.

And now Trump goes even further off. Clearly he has no compassion for others to suggest this “slum clearance.”

And how could he pull it off? Well, there is that magic word: Tariffs! Tariffs up the wazoo for countries that refuse to resettle Palestinians.

Tariffs on Mideast oil! Well, that will work out well for somebody. But not you magats.

Oh and of course, someone will have to pay for our deploying more military to the Mideast. Here’s a hint: It won’t be any of the rich tech-boys, or other contributors to Trump. (Big money contributors, magats, Not you! You’ll be paying as your patriotic duty to make other people rich.)

Democrats first announced that they’d move out from America if Donald Trump had won the 2016 election, and they said they’d move if Donald Trump won the 2024 election, but they had not. Democrats always seem compelled to go against their word and lie. I guess it does not matter really, I mean, since Joe Biden had finally been booted out from office to keep from doing any other damage to America to hurt American Workers.

According to DJT, the Palestinians should leave Gaza. He obvious forgot his history becasue the Palestinians were there first and the Jewish people are the immigrants thanks to Abraham and the country by the League of Nations following WWII.

This is a new idea by Netanyahu to take Gaza, followed by the west bank, with U.S. backing. He had opposition from Biden and Obama before him. Now he’s got tRump, and yesterday in meetings pitched the idea of super luxury resorts and gaming houses in the Middle East, on the Mediterranean convenient and easy travel for the oil rich. Netanyahu knows what buttons tp push for tRump.Netanyahu suckered the terrorist Hamas into attacking to start this war. He knew how to push their buttons. Gaza is almost cleared for new construction, at no cost to the developers coming. Much like Poland being blamed for starting WW@ in 1939, Netanyahu setup the none too bright Hamas terrorists using them to betray the Palestinian people.

DD Wiz says: “John F Kennedy did not establish USAID and the Peace Corps out of pure altruism. He did it because he had seen war and wanted to prevent it. He did it to improve our standing in the international community.”

And . . . how has that worked out for us? We have been trying to BUY our way into the hearts and minds of the international community for decades. Most of them still hate us, for a variety of reasons. And . . . sending aid money into MOST of the 3rd world countries (whose citizens truly do need it) ends up in the pockets of the politicians before it ever reaches the citizens.

NOTHING, no amount of money, is going to persuade a Muslim country to like America. Same for a Socialist or Communist country. We could send a trillion dollars into a country and all they would says is, “Thanks, suckers”.

It’s time to pause, evaluate, and THEN selectively send aid money to people who need it.

Is anyone else concerned that the regime is setting up concentration camps in Cuba and also in El Salvador, which will also take US citizens? Starting to sound like they are building gulags to house political dissidents, anyone who doesn’t agree with them. Perhaps that explains the tacit cooperation and silence of even past presidents? The silence is deafening.

“Philadelphia and Temple University police are investigating an incident where two people posing as ICE agents disrupted a business on campus on Saturday night, according to the school.

The pair wore shirts with “ICE” and “Police” in white lettering, while a third person videotaped the disturbance. One Temple student was in custody Sunday night — and released on Monday ― and has been placed on interim suspension from the university.

The police agencies have initiated a criminal investigation, the school said." [Inquirer, 1/3/25]

In addition all of us who volunteer at food pantries are on alert – the news came that two “militia” cosplayers showed up at a pantry in the suburbs “looking for immigrants.” Thankfully, it ended without involving the police unlike the incident in October where an as(h)hat was arrested for the same – at an elementary school food drive.

But, of course, I’m sure they come in peace. Just like the folks did on January 6, 2021…
