I like something with a little more bite, more along the lines of Bram Stoker.

She was just gnawing around the edges.

I write banned books

But Nabokov tastes better!

Penny, Penny, Penny, just don’t gnaw on a tRump book, they are artificial, leave a bad taste in your mouth and will cause you indigestion.

Better still, there’s James Fenimore Cooper’s Leatherstocking Tales.

Cultured pooches always pick good classics…

Never knew the dogs name was Penny

I only once ever had a dog eat a book. She managed to shred it – a paperback – into perfect one-inch squares while I ran a 5-minute errand. She really didn’t want me to be packing a suitcase for a trip. She did not get into trouble, and I learned to never leave a partially packed suitcase open.

Penny’s attentiveness reminds me so much of my dog.

Although the humor Harry Bliss brings forth IS wonderful and very enjoyable….. I have to say….. perhaps MORE than the humor…. I am drawn to these comics by Mr. Bliss because of Mr. Bliss’ drawing artistry. I always find the images so multifaceted and well drawn.

I think Tolstoy would enjoy that.

Tsk, tsk. Once Penny gets a taste for the good stuff, she’ll never eat your homework again.
