And the allergies are kicking

Ripe for the picking.

I experienced my personal day of spring today. My neighbor across the street let their two grey tabbies out (since fall) and i had the opportunity to give the friendlier one some pets and treats. My own passed about six years ago and being a recent senior, i didn’t want to leave one unsupported if i’m outlived.

The cheeses on the Pizza and in the Lasagna are melting. The doughnuts are warming.

The spiders are squashing…

That’s a thaw point.

And the ticks are biting. I speak from experience.

And the mud is mudding.

spiders are the only one glad to have a bug in their web

The spider will soon get crushed.

The daffodils are blooming, the snow is falling…

Wait, what?

And the ants are seeking new sources of food.

Now where’s that newspaper to SPLAAATS steenky spider…

Quick, Garfield, Applause, Applause. one less fly eater

Meanwhile, it’s pretty cold from where I am…and I live in Central….

And Garfield doesn’t have a handy newspaper.

Don’t get too cheerful Garfield, Spring has Mondays every week too.

The spiders are learning when to not antagonize Garfield…

that’s about the Grossest thing I’ve heard in 2025 so far.

All of the above.

Not to mention Jon doing his annual dance to welcome Springtime.

I hate having to deal with spiders..

Not sure if the implication here is that flies go into some kind of suspended animation over the winter upon being frozen then reawaken in the spring (only to be eaten by spiders), or if this particular spider has been stashing fly corpses outside all winter and can now enjoy eating them after the spring thaw. Either one is honestly pretty distasteful, and also scientifically inaccurate!

He’s not wrong.

There’s always a downside.

It’s springtime for spidey too ! ;-)

Garfield doesn’t find flies as appetizing as lasagna.
