Now we know why she whacks him every chance she gets!

After molting, is it molten?

Molting enables snakes to grow more/faster.

She doesn’t need to grow/expand any more (any faster).

Were the first two panels filmed in slow moltion? And what would happen if the snake couldn’t remember the command words to shout, “Molt! Molt! Molt!”

My chickens molt every fall, it’s never as clean and quickly as that. What a mess—feathers everywhere for weeks!

Funny timing on today’s strip. My snake just shed its skin yesterday. It took her a while though and she was still struggling so I help her along. She looks so pretty once she is nice and clean but then it’s feeding time…

i thought snake was in hibernation with bear ?

Don’t upset her. She has a club and can use it.

Fat Broad is lamenting her club is back in the cave.

Looks a little painful!!!! Before shedding, a snake may exhibit signs of stress or discomfort, such as reduced appetite or changes in behavior. However, the shedding itself is not painful. After shedding, snakes often feel relief and may appear more vibrant and healthy.

Nice flex by the snake…sadly those will probably be his last words once she reaches for her club.
