Someone help me out: What are the cartridge-shaped things on the drum straps? Pillboxes? Toothbrush holders? Pez dispensers? Place to store drumsticks? Tinderboxes? Coin stackers for tips? Binoculars? Whistles for the train effects on the blues tunes? Small portable tubular bells or wood blocks?

Just wait ‘til the new secretary of defense sees that cross-dresser wearing the Norma Shearer turban instead of a top hat… they’ll be drummed out of the drum corps.

On the other hand, they might just have been shot in the hat, and are waiting for the plume to heal.
