r_noonan they look like those “twisted” lightbulbs that last for hundreds of years (the “eco-friendly” bulbs that save electricity) my friend has those same ones on his front porch… yellow to ward off the bugs. detdandone… good luck and congrats! name one JUNIOR and the other JOE and youll be fine lol :)
Today is the Bicentennial of the birth of the Shakespeare of novelists..Inasmuch as Charles Dickens was one of Chester Gould’s favorite authors, and, inasmuch as Dickens was clearly such a major influence on Gould’s own storytelling, it seems appropriate to acknowledge this important date in the history of literature.
About the Mole’s lair – when Tracy originally busted in on the Mole, the city was in the middle of one of Gould’s famous blizzards. The reason the cops found the hide-out was because the snow plows had piled snow up over the entrance, and when the heat from Mole’s lair started to cause the snow to melt, water flooded in and the Mole came close to drowning. It actually started to cave in, and for a while he was trapped. So, how are homeless folks now able to live there? Did someone shore up the old supports, and re-inforce the walls to make it reasonably safe?
