Ah HA! Is a break finally about to come Tracy’s way? And with all of Mr. Crime’s home boys (and girl) always gathering around, it is good to see the good guys (and gals) together, no matter how drawn and inked. Yeah, the bad guys win every once in awhile, but I think it’s time for our heroes to strike back!
Sure hope Tracy and Co. can protect Little Face from his former business associates, especially if the mole is spying on them via the wrist wizards.Otherwise, Little Face is plant food. (Hope he survives the story, I’ve come to like the guy!)
Team Tracy is a great credit to the legacy of Chester Gould! Great story line, fantastic artwork, and color everyday. Absolutely the best team established. Much thanks for resurrecting this strip from where it used to be. Great job!
I’m confused – exactly where are Tracy and crew? The background looks like the Tracy Agency, but if that’s the case, why does it say “Chief Patton” on the door? Are they back at the station and do they both have the same interior designer?
Many years ago, Quincy, Ill had the same problem, when the police made raids on the “Third Street Establishments”, it was obvious they had been tipped off in advance. Then the State Police made a surprise visit!
I agree with Night-Gaunt49—These stories should be reprinted in book form, either in black and white or with colors by Shane. In the words of Blackjack —“Woo Hoo! It’s Dick Tracy!”
Just because you have a job doesn’t mean you’re good at it. .I’m not a fan of the coloring of strips that were intended to be printed in black and white. I suspect this colorist has to work fast and, given the economics of comic strips these days, I’m guessing he/she doesn’t make a lot of money for it either. .Consistency would be nice but that takes extra time and effort. Since these aren’t being colored by the official team, there’s bound to be coloring details that this colorist doesn’t know — like colorizing I Love Lucy. The coloring of the dailies is unofficial so i think folks should view it as such. Besides, it’s not like any of us are paying anything (or much) to read the strip.

Actually one more bad gal. The Mushroom Lady and her vines, and I suppose “Tonsils” the barracuda could be considered a lethal weapon if nothing else.

Great art, as usual. Love the way he draws two men far apart as if they’re next to each other, very cool.
