Do any of you remember the story arc when Tiffany was in Toni’s apartment, telling Dirk that Toni moved away? Remember what Dirk said to Tiffany: “Cut the act…you’re not convincing.” She’s beyond hopeless.

Is it just my life or is there a disproportionate number of real-world women named Tiffany that have serious congruity with this Luanniverse character?Too many (OK, all) of the ones I know are rather terminally self centred.Perhaps a case of the label forming the character, a bit like girls who are nicknamed “princess”.

Ok, Tiff. To do either action or comedy you need to learn two things: 1) How to perform (delivery, timing, stunts) which can be obtained by actually performing. To be a comic, try a stand-up gig at the next talent show & see whether classses might be a good idea. 2) How to manage your career. Like thousands of other performers, you’ll get the shaft from agents and accountants if you don’t take charge of the business end.Cross-strip angst: Was any other Funky fan disturbed by his leaving Lisa’s picture on Mt. Kili? First, it’s loose and will be blown away and dissolve in the snow. Second, hard to believe that guides allow climbers to litter the mountain. Third, what a cold way to end a loving relationship!

Crystal’s punch line is on the money – once again…However with her hot looks and quick wit…It’s still very hard to guess what direction Crystal will take in the next five years. She doesn’t seem to want to act – or sing – or write.

Tiff,there’s a movie you should see if you think you don’t need training. It’s called “Eyez of Zeye”.

I couldn’t find the punchline, so I drew one on myself. It runs left to right, about halfway down the strip.

Wow guys, not only do you get this strange comic strip but you actually seem to enjoy it. It is without an ounce of smarminess (well maybe a little) that I express my amazement at this. The level of discussion in the comments indicates a greater depth or complexity to the strip than I was able to sense. I just though it was crap. As the great Bill McNeal used to say in ‘News Radio’, “Kudos to you, and Kudos again”. Oh and Greg, just a suggestion but you might like to introduce a new character to the strip, Luann’s long lost brother ‘Greg’ who is a comedian trying hard to break into the industry but can get no laughs. No shortage of inspiration there mate.

Tiffany ends up being the character Joy in “My Name is Earl.”

Do people really think this way? Is our entitlement culture that pathetic?

As always, solid writing, good wit, great characters, and interesting twists… but the art is starting to look “Garfield” with the heavy outlines around the characters. It’s not enhancing the story or the “relatability”… I’m not sure why it’s happening. It’s not making the frames more readable.
