Frizzletop O’Copper. Hmmmm… Nope, I’m not going there. (grin)

Oooh, ah nope. Damn.

There’s one thing bugging me about this plot: How could the bad guys have predicted Tracy would get shot? For this to work, they would have had to know a long time in advance that he would be shot, because getting a fake EMT team, ambulance, and hospital room together is now small feat.

So the villains are either able to predict the future with stunning accuracy, or they somehow orchestrated Tracy’s shooting, which means the entire police raid on Mr Crime’s organization was a setup, with them pulling the strings.

Kind of hard to swallow, but we’ll see if this issue gets addressed in the coming days and weeks…

It’s been years…seventy to be exact. Have they been to shangri-la? Few ninety couples looks like they are nineteen!

@Flight SuitMaybe the bad guys would have tried to snatch DT regardless of an injury or not. Maybe they were hoping someone, anyone would be injured and they could lure DT into the ambulance with them. As far as the idea that the bad guys knew about the fire fight at Panda’s I can only guess that they’ve stayed very close but not too close to DT’s whereabouts and “got lucky”.

Mistress’s crew [remember, as far as readers of this strip, as distinct from related blogs, know, she has not yet been named] may have had their plan ready and on hold for the opportune moment until they heard of the Panda Raid by tapping into police communications. But it was apparently pure luck that Dick was among the wounded; they may have intended to see to that themselves had it not already happened….In any case, I hope Frizzletop O’Copper has some useful intel regarding this nefarious plot, because the longer it goes undetected, the worse for Tracy’s chances!

From Eight to twelve! dang!! lol! frizzletop knows something? i wonder how.. and looks like shes brought her OWN security with her!

This is shaping up to be a great story. I think we just have to overlook a bit of logic about the bad guys being able to pull together the ambulance and hospital room so quickly. They did it somehow.

Chief seems to ignore O’Copper. What kind of uniform is that and was he in the strip before?

Dennis O"Copper of the Highway Police showed up in several mid 40’s adventure, while the character of Pat Patton was absent. There’s been some speculation that Gould was grooming him for the partner role.

I think everyone has a right to their own opinion here and to share it without being browbeaten if it doesn’t happen to agree with someone else’s….this is supposed to be entertainment, not a courtroom trial, geez…..

Tonight on Turner Classc Movies there is a Dick Tracy movie marathon from 8pm to 2am eastern time.

i had to stay up til 1:15am eastern time to get the top spot twice lol ;)
